Bare Moisture started with years of frustration, not a business plan. Our founder spent years cycling through threading, waxing, and shaving — and every method left the same result: irritated, stripped skin, no closer to an actual long-term solution.
What was on the market split into two disappointing camps. Products that were gentle but did nothing for regrowth. Or products aggressive enough to affect regrowth, but harsh enough to punish sensitive skin in the process. Nobody seemed to be building for both at once.
So we did. Bare Moisture is a Black women-owned brand built around one belief: skin shouldn’t have to suffer for results. Every formula pairs a clinically-referenced hair-minimizing active with genuinely nourishing, barrier-supporting ingredients — because the goal was never just less regrowth. It was skin that actually feels good every single day.
