I started Bare Moisture out of a necessity for myself.
I started growing facial hair around 14–15 years old. It affected how others saw me and my confidence, which spilled over into other areas of my life.
I remember noticing the facial hair for the first time in the mirror and not knowing what to do. I took a dull eyebrow razor and roughly shaved the hair off my chin, under my chin, and mustache area, leaving me with horrible hyperpigmentation.
Too embarrassed to speak with anyone about it, I went through years of tweezing and shaving, but I could never keep up with how quickly the hair grew back or how much of it there was. So my secret really wasn't a secret, even though I refused to speak about it and felt embarrassed whenever it was brought up.
I tried laser hair removal with little success, and electrolysis was way too invasive for me. I tried the supplements and the teas and saw no results.
